Job description
We’re looking for aspiring artists to draw and create in a range of styles live at events in London and across the UK. No professional experience is required - this is the perfect place to kickstart your career!
This is a casual, freelance opportunity, so we’ll contact you about shifts to see if you’re available. You must register as self employed, meaning you will be responsible for your own taxes.
What you'll be doing:

You’ll have roughly 5 minutes per person to draw an A6 picture of them, portrait or full body, for guests to keep

Working in your own style, with the mediums you’re most comfortable with - we’ll provide what you need

Drawing up to 45 people in a 4 hour shift (up to 12 people per hour)

Developing your technique and portfolio whilst you work

Network with hundreds of people
You're perfect for the job if:
Essential

You have experience practising, studying or working in the arts

You wish you could get paid to draw all day

You draw, paint, or create in a medium and style that could apply to our 5 minute portraits

You’re a great communicator who’s confident speaking to people, and working around them

You’re willing to work weekends and evenings, and travel for your shift

You are registered as self employed in the UK, or willing and able to register as self employed in the UK prior to your first shift, as this is a freelance opportunity

You are eligible to work in the UK

You’re savvy on social media, willing to film and document your work for content

You enjoy working in a fast paced environment

You live local to London, Manchester or Bristol
What we offer:

£25 per hour, shifts averaging between 4-7 hours (minimum of 4 hours per shift, but there are no minimum hours guaranteed each month)

Up to £25 travel expenses paid per shift

How to apply:
You'll need to complete the following task before applying.
Task (10 minutes)
As part of your application, you'll be asked to submit 2 x 5 minute portraits, one of yourself and another of your choice. Your portraits/sketches should be in your own style and mediums, on A5 or A6 paper.
If you find the portraits take longer than 5-6 minutes but it still sounds like the role for you, practice does make perfect, so we’d love to hear from you again soon!
